Polly Duff Kertis’s writing has appeared in Tin HouseThe Literary Review, The CollagistThe Brooklyn RailLiterary MamaDossier, Everyday Genius, Agriculture Reader, and other journals. She has completed a collection of short stories and is working on a novel. She is the author of two chapbooks of translation, OLD GUS EATS (Publishing Genius, 2012) and MIRROR POEMS (O’Clock Press, 2012).

She founded the Brooklyn reading series Writers Reading to Writers Listening to Writers Reading to Writers. She co-founded the biennial Moby-Dick Marathon NYC

She completed an MFA at Sarah Lawrence College, and she teaches writing at Sarah Lawrence and The Sackett Street Writer’s Workshop. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two kids.
